How to make a perfect French manicure

Before you get started, make sure you have all the necessary tools on hand to avoid potential misunderstandings and preserve the beauty of your nails.

1. Shape your nails

Regardless of what shape you prefer for your nails, be it almond or square, it is important to start with proper shaping. The process of filing and modelling nails is accompanied by the formation of nail dust, so it is better to carry out this procedure in advance.

2. Apply base and gel varnish

Apply one coat of base and dry in the lamp. Then, add two coats of gel polish in a neutral shade that matches your natural nail colour and dry in the lamp as well.

3. Draw French tips

Once the gel polish has dried, start creating French tips. Start by determining the desired thickness of the line. Use a special brush to create a smile and run it along the edge of the nail from one end to the other. After that, gently remove the excess gel polish from the skin.

Continue by drawing a thin line from the middle of the nail down to its edge and fix in the resulting position using a nail drying lamp. It is important to take into account that the tip is thin enough, eliminating the possibility of its fragility. Following these recommendations, you will achieve an elegant and durable French manicure.

4. Apply the top

Once your manicure is complete, gently apply a top coat to consolidate your manicure design and add shine. Then place the newly coated nails back into the UV lamp to ensure a quick and permanent fix. Once this step is complete, it is recommended to wipe the painted nails with a special cleaner to give the final perfection to your manicure.

5. Cuticle oil

It is recommended to apply cuticle oil to the nails after the treatment. Nourishing oil will moisturise and strengthen the nail plate, giving it a healthy and well-groomed look.
